I love the way the author has adopted a holistic approach ties and ties all of the elements together at the end. The Financial Pillars chapter is a real eye opener.

This book covers things you might not have considered when looking at retirement, and encourages you to think about what’s important in your life. It’s a good guidebook for retirement.

I’ve been a Parachute fan since I read an early edition of the original book in about 1980. It was invaluable in helping me understand myself and what goals I should be pursuing. Sadly, this book has nothing in common with the original except the title. If I had purchased it locally rather than on Amazon, I would have already returned it and asked for a refund.

Read and devour this fine book before you retire. Excellent breakdown on the elements of a successful retirement. I wish I had read it five years ago.
